Entropia CBR hires former Unilever regional digital manager as principal


Entropia CBR has appointed Nelissa Capila-Alcanzare as the company’s first principal for business and brand development in the Philippines.

Prior to joining Entropia CBR, she was with Unilever as regional digital and search manager based in Singapore. She spent over a decade with the FMCG firm which included a stint as country digital lead for Indonesia.

Entropia CBR Senior Partner and Country Head Eduardo Mapa, Jr. announced the appointment of Nelissa Capila-Alcanzare as the company’s first Principal for Business and Brand Development. She officially comes on board the Philippines company on July 1st.

Entropia CBR is the first international expansion by Entropia, the fast-rising Independent Malaysia-based new age marketing consultancy and the freshly-minted Agency of the year at this year’s MARKies.

“Nel joins us as part of the leadership team. Her experience in driving digital marketing growth will be integral in building our service offerings in digital transformation road map development, digital-first experiences architecture, designing future ready platforms, and e-Commerce strategies for our clients. As Principal for Business and Brand Development, she will also be leading the company’s new business growth objectives and the establishment of the Entropia CBR brand in the Philippines.” Mapa said.

Before Joining Entropia CBR, Nel was Unilever’s regional digital and search manager based in Singapore. Her 12-year stint at Unilever includes assignments as Country Digital lead in Indonesia, where she spearheaded it’s Digital Hyperdrive program; and as Digital Media Activations Manager in the Philippines, she developed and drove the digital game plan for the market.

The six-month-old company clients’ include Mundipharma and its Betadine suite, Megaworld Corporation, Ogawa, and Motorcycle ride-sharing transport company Angkas.
